Free guide to anti-slip decking
October 1st 2007

Specialist timber importer and manufacturer, John Brash, has produced a free 12-page guide for its antislip decking products.

The JB Antislip Plus Structural Timber Decking guide provides detailed information on the different types of anti-slip decking, board profiles, span limits and fixing details. There is also a section on deck maintenance.

JB Antislip Plus uses a special formula of raised resin-based aggregate inserts which are injected into the deck board grooves.

If smooth boards are required, grooves are specially machined into the boards to receive the inserts.

The product has been independently tested by the Health and Safety Laboratory (HSL) using a Stanley Pendulum in accordance with the current issue of the United Kingdom Slip Resistance Group guidelines.

The results of this test can be found within the new guide.
