Mobile handrails
October 1st 2007 Safetyworks and Solutions
has just had a new product
tested. The MobiGuard is a
mobile handrail unit for use
when unloading drop side
lorries. The handrails will
cater for smaller and larger
vehicles being 2.6m tall.
They are on heavy duty 8in
castors with brakes to hold
them in position.
Bovis is the owner of the
first four units. These are at
Aldersgate and are being
used to protect the slinger
while unloading lorries
using a tower crane.
Safetyworks and Solutions
says Bovis is pleased with
the units and showing them
to other project managers.
New models will be
designed to have extension
bars to link two units and
