Roof edge protection

Kee Safety has provided its KeeGuard roof edge protection system at Calderstones NHS Trust in Lancashire. The system has been fitted to provide effective protection for maintenance crews accessing the roof.

The KeeGuard system also ensures optimum safety for fire escape users in the event of an emergency.

Over 70 linear metres of the KeeGuard system now surrounds the roof edge of the medium secure unit so maintenance contractors can now safely carry out any repairs or routine maintenance to rooftop plant and other services at a greatly reduced risk of falling from height. The KeeGuard system is quick and easy to erect, which minimised noise and disruption during installation.
