Guardrail cures hospital problem August 1st 2007 Safesite is helping to improve safety for those working at height on rooftop plant and machinery at Stafford General Hospital through the installation of a comprehensive safety system incorporating System 2000 cantilever guardrail and Demarcation. Safesite's BBA-approved System 2000 provides a permanent form of edge protection around the air conditioning units, while the Demarcation system has been installed as a link between access points and the units. Both systems are freestanding, so there is no risk to the roof's membrane which can cause water penetration. Steven Dalton, premises manager, says "The initial quote came in on time complete with schematics. Not only was the price extremely competitive, but we received comprehensive risk assessments and method statements." More articles from Safesite Limited: |
