Removes standing stress
April 1st 2008

The DAMM brewery in Barcelona and a similar facility in Canada are two of the latest plants to install large areas of Firmagrip matting from Plastic Extruders.

The matting has been laid over open grid metal platforms to relieve the stress of walking on the hard surface.

Manufactured from flexible PVC, the matting is hardwearing and will reduce standing fatigue. It is resistant to oils, acids and most industrial chemicals.

The roll format means that a large area can be covered in one piece. The close spaced double grid retains dropped small components and helps prevent breakage of accidentally dropped bottles yet allows liquids and spillage to drain.

The underside is not affected by the sharpness of the open metal grid below, while the top surface is tough and certified slipresistant.

Available in red, green or black, Firmagrip is supplied in 10m long rolls and widths of 60, 91 and 122cm. It is easy to cut and fit and, loose laid, can easily be removed for cleaning or resiting.

Accessories include chamfered PVC or aluminum edges.
