FIBREGLASS GRATING GOES OFF-SHORE

The Grating Company has provided anti-slip flooring for Talisman, a company that provides safety solutions for off-shore oil and gas drilling rigs.

The project involved 400m2 of mini mesh fibreglass grating and hundreds of TreadGrip stair tread covers.

Steel gratings were replaced with fibreglass versions, giving a considerable weight saving.

The result is a finished flooring that is corrosionresistant, anti-slip, impact resistant, chemical resistant and has a Class 1 fire test certificate to BS 476, Part 7.

Other safety and access solutions available from the company include ladders, hand-rail systems, bridges, ramps, walkways and platforms.
