A new interactive vehicle sign has been introduced by messagemaker and the company says that such signs have been shown to reduce speeds significantly on hazardous sites and within speed limited areas.

Use of an interactive sign recognises that drivers make sensible decisions on their actions if given real time, relevant information on their driving behaviour.

All Vehicle Activated Signs are low maintenance and incorporate slimline LED technology to provide high visibility over a wide viewing angle. They contain light sensitive dimming circuitry and can be activated by timer, radar or by inductive loop. The radar is typically built into the display and can be easily programmed for activation speeds
