Simply press to list
August 1st 2005

Passive hearing protectors from Peltor include a manual listening function.

At the press of a button on the shell, the wearer reduces attenuation and can listen to speech.

The protectors retain some attenuation even when allowing sound through and it is simply a case of pressing the button again to restore full protection.

Should the user forget to switch hearing protection back on, the unit does so automatically after 30 seconds.

Commenting on the Push-To-Listen headset, Per Gustavsson, marketing manager, says “The new protector doesn’t stop at hearing protection, it’s equally important not to block out speech or hamper communication on a worksite.

“The Peltor Push To Listen contributes to the wearer’s sense of belonging. It is easy to wear all day without having to take it off and expose oneself unnecessarily to harmful noise.”
