A comfortable, ergonomic alternative to earmuffs and earplugs has been introduced by Aearo. The semi-aural hearing protector follows leading brand music headphone designs to provide the wearer with a sleek, stylish and cool way to protect their hearing. The E.A.R Band wraps around the ear and sits behind the head, helping to reduce noise transmission. Its design, along with its position when seated in the ear, prevents rubbing on clothing or clashing with other ppe devices, such as hard hats or respirators. An anti-twist socket reduces movement of the band when fitted, holding it securely in place and preventing slippage. Made of robust ABS material, the band can be positioned comfortably around the neck when not in use.
