Need a massage?
April 1st 2005

If, after hours of wandering around Safety & Health Expo 2005, you feel in need of an energy boost, a visit to a Hela Zone may provide some welcome relaxation.

Hela Zone Wellbeing System is a non-invasive massage solution that is said to provide effective relief for stress and muscular tension.

Designed for boosts of energy or a quick power break, Hela zone offers head, shoulder and back massage at the touch of a button. It is preprogrammed to provide a 15min relaxation massage or a 15min revitalisation treatment.

The company believes that within just a few minutes, a Hela zone, placed in a quiet location in any workplace, can relieve physical and mental stress via deep tissue massage, helping to increase staff productivity and reduce absenteeism.

The London Borough of Southwark Council installed two Hela Zones at two sites to improve staff welfare.

Used on average 250 times per month, they have helped reduce back and shoulder pain complaints and absenteeism.
