Electric quartz heating specialist, Tansun, says it has taken outdoor heating to a new level of sophistication with the launch of quartz heating control systems that enable the output from heaters to be varied between 30 and 100%, as the ambient temperature varies and user preferences dictate.

Energy savings are made in direct proportion to the electricity consumed, so a heater operating at 30% of capacity makes an energy saving of 70%. Payback for the control system is very short.

Easy to install and customise, the controllers are compatible with all Tansun electric quartz heaters and come in 3 and 6kW options. A 6kW controller enables the user to control up to four 1.5kw heaters.

The system is flexible and allows heaters to be controlled over a range of up to 6m, either from the base unit that is mounted on an interior wall, or from a remote handset.
