CLEAN-UP ROLE FOR SCISSORS AND BOOMS
June 1st 2005

Fire and floor restoration specialist Belfor Relectronic (UK) used equipment from AFI Aerial Platforms to help employees clean the fireblackened roof of a production process hall at Corus steelworks in Flintshire.

With pressure washers not deemed suitable, the team used chemicals, rags and elbow grease as they worked, two at a time, in each AFI machine.

Steve Robinson, Belfor damage surveyor, comments “The AFI machines not only gave us reach and flexibility, but provided a cost-effective solution.

AFI supplied one Skyjack 9250 scissor lift and 10 booms, with both straight and articulated versions and working heights from 20 to 26m.
