The Door and Hardware Federation has published a comprehensive guide to fire door and shutter certification for the benefit of all specifiers, designers and purchasers of fire resisting doorsets and shutters.

Its publication (available at www.dhfonline.org.uk) follows the Regulatory Reform (fire safety) Order 2005 which came into force last October and places a far greater responsibility for fire safety on the owners and occupiers of buildings.

The DHF Guide to Fire Door and Shutter Verification is a step-by-step guide that enables the user to check that a product is covered by third party product conformity certification.
