RADIANT HEATING TAKES OFF AT RYANAIR
October 1st 2005

A Nor-Ray-Vac continuous radiant tube heating system from Ambi-Rad, sited in the 22m high roof of Ryanair’s hangar at Prestwick airport, helps night shift workers stay warm despite open doors and cold winds.

Suspended from the roof, the Nor-Ray-Vac heaters emit infrared rays that warm only objects and people in their path. They do not waste fuel heating the volume of air in the building, so help to keep running costs to a minimum.

The system provides even heat coverage and has rapid warm up time and low noise operation.
