KEEPING COOL
February 1st 2004

The SDU550 is an internally mounted evaporative cooling system launched by Seeley International (Europe) in conjunction with developers Work Space Cooling. It requires no external building work or complex installations.

Providing up to 40kW of cooling, the system can be installed inside buildings thereby avoiding the need for ductwork and disruptive building work. Units can be installed in groups, or individually. The uncomplicated technology can be set up and fully operational on site in a matter of hours and can be easily relocated as factory layouts change.

Fully installed for under 5000 and costing less than 10p/ hour to run a single unit, the SDU550 produces airflow of 10 000m3 covering an area of 12m dia or a 20m long corridor. This allows for the cooling of large areas or spot cooling.

Costing around 25% of standard air-con and with only 10% of the running costs; the SDU550 is the simple solution to high temperatures in the workplace.
