Cooling solution
August 1st 2006

When summer temperatures on the factory floor at HPC Engineering regularly reached between 30 and 35C, the company turned to Clean Air Group to improve conditions for its workforce.

The company suggested installation of Seeley International's Breezair evaporative cooling system and it was agreed that coolers would be fitted into the hydraulic division's manufacturing hall.

Nine Breezair coolers were installed onto the roof of the building, with internal vents strategically placed to inject fresh, cool air. A further eight units have subsequently been installed.

Temperatures have been reduced by between 8 and 10C and conditions for employees are much better.
