Cooler for Aga staff
October 1st 2005

Temperatures in Aga’s Telford factory have been reduced from 30°C to a more comfortable ambient temperature of less than 25°C following the installation by Airplants of a Breezair evaporative air cooling system.

The 840m2 area has a 6m high apex roof where heat collected before radiating down into the interior of the building.

David Hodson, engineering service manager, dismissed air conditioning as inappropriate and prohibitively expensive and agreed with Airplants suggestion that four Seeley International Breezair units should be installed on the roof to provide spot cooling around the assembly area.

David Hodson comments "Not only is Breezair far cheaper to install than other products, it is low maintenance and environmentally friendly which makes it an all-round winner. The workforce is absolutely delighted with the improved working conditions."
