Cool solution
April 1st 2004 A joint approach to cooling a hot, dry factory has improved conditions for employees at a leading UK sports car and Formula 1 motor racing company.
Niche, manufacturer of direct gas-fired heating systems, and Seeley International Europe, in co-operation with Industrial & Commercial Environments, designed a system to give evaporative cooling in summer and heating in winter.
Seeleys environmentally friendly Breezair system operates with doors and windows open, while providing a constant flow of naturally cooled air. It is economic to install, cost effective to run, and is said to consume less energy than conventional air conditioning systems.
It reduces temperature by providing sufficient cool air to positively pressurise a building by ejecting warm air and preventing heat entering.
