NEW INSTRUMENT MEASURES NOISE
April 1st 2004

Following a number of in-depth workshops held worldwide with customers, consultants and influential participants in noise and vibration, Brel & Kjaer has developed a fourth generation hand-held instrument for noise measurement.

The hardware of the Type 2250 has been designed to meet the specific ergonomic requirements of users, and the application software covers everything from environmental noise and occupational health, to quality control.

Software packages can be licensed separately so a company only has to buy what it needs at the time.

Easy to grip and operate, Type 2250 is built for use outdoors and in difficult environmental conditions. Designed for single-handed operation, with a choice between hard keys or touch screen, it provides the user with everything from a personal log-in and measurement, data and display set-ups to a personal checklist.
