Be seen in a waistcoat June 1st 2008 Glow Safe used this year's
Safety and Health Expo as
the launch venue for a new
range of longsleeved
waistcoats.
Incorporating strips of
Glowsafe material, the
waistcoats enable wearers to
be seen when outside in
poor light conditions.
There are flashing strips
of material on the front and
a rear panel in which words
such as First aid, Caution,
Security etc can be placed.
The waistcoats are
compliant with Class 3 of BS
EN 471, relating to high
visibility clothing. They
come in two versions. One
has a Velcro closure at the
front; the other has a zip,
reinforced with a Velcro
closure.
They feature a small
power pack that takes 4 x
AAA batteries, and the
company can also supply a
kit so that the user simply
plugs the waistcoat in to
recharge if NiMh rechargeable
batteries are used.
There is no dependency
upon an external light
source in order to be seen. More articles from Glow Safe Ltd: |
