A light-reactive welding helmet is the latest addition to the Diamond own-brand product family from Thomas Wright/Thorite Group.

The helmet automatically guards against visible light, infrared and ultra violet radiation. An auto-darkening, wide view lens switches from light to dark in 1/25 000th of a second, for continuous eye protection against uv and ir radiation, even when the lens is in the light state mode.

Two photo sensors react independently as the welding arc is struck, providing virtually instantaneous darkening.

Slim and lightweight (430g), the helmet has full-face coverage and is made from high impact polyamide nylon material.
