Latest PPE innovations
February 1st 2010

British PPE manufacturer JSP invites you to visit its stand at Health & Safety 10 South to see what it says is the only industrial safety helmet that meets the new European standard EN14052, or an ingenious idea that combines eye protection and disposable respiratory mask in a product that gets optimum performance out of both.

JSP has had a great year for developing original PPE ideas.

The Flexinet moulded disposable respiratory mask maintains its shape and seal integrity thanks to an integral exhalation valve, and a web structure that allows for P2 or P3 filtering over its impressive filter life.

Neckprotect is a neck and head support for people who constantly work above head height and suffer the strains and discomfort of overhead working. And the new Filterspec now means that eye protection need not fog and respiratory protection need not leak when used together as a single unit in this unique new product.

But the EVO8 helmet was the company's proudest achievement, bringing to market the world's first high performance side impact industrial helmet that meets the new standard of protection. Designed for high risk environments like mining, construction and off shore working, the EVO8 protects against side and crown impacts which might otherwise result in serious skull, neck or brain injury.
