Gloves
February 1st 2007

Ansell will be showing at Health & Safety 07 its latest industrial gloves that target, for example, problems of grip or sweaty hands, exposure to extreme cold or chemical products, as well as the manipulation of small objects.

Among new products on show will be the AlphaTec glove which features Ansell Grip Technology. It is said to require from 34 to 69% less grip force to lift heavy, oily objects. In partnership with the University of Birmingham, Ansell has demonstrated the reduced necessity for exertion associated with the special coating.

The glove's combination of grip and chemical resistance, together with its flexibility and dexterity, are said to make it a suitable choice when dealing with chemicals. It can also be used for handling and light assembly applications in environments with potential chemical hazards.

The company will also show its 100% nitrile, single-use Touch N Tuff gloves that offer a high level of protection against the aliphatic hydrocarbons present in lubricants.

Other products on Ansell's stand will include the Virtex glove with Aquadri technology, and the PowerFlex 80-400 glove for handling and carrying in temperatures as low as -30°C. Stand 37
