Speedy warm-up
April 1st 2005

Designed to significantly reduce warm up times, the new Draeger SensorReady XS ensures that electrochemical DraegerSensors are ready for operation within just 5min of being connected to a measuring instrument.

Suitable for use in both maintenance and emergency applications, this development is said to save 25min on the traditional warm-up period.

Incorporating an aluminium cover for safe sensor transportation and a lithium battery to ensure that the sensor is maintained in a ready-foruse state, the device can be used in any nonexplosive environment and with any electrochemical DraegerSensor.

User-friendly, the sensors offer a fast response and are said to have excellent longevity and high sensitivity. They are also highly specific to the target gas and the company guarantees outstanding repeatability of the sensor signal.

A data memory (EEPROM) stores all sensor-specific data, such as gas sensitivity and date of last calibration.
