Handbook focuses on ppe selection August 1st 2007 JOIFF, an organisation for emergency services management, has published a PPE handbook for people who select heat-and-flame protective clothing and equipment, which JOIFF member, DuPont, has printed and is distributing in conjunction with the organisation. The handbook, called PPE to protect against heat and flame, contains information on all aspects of heat and flame protective clothing, from risk assessment, the EU certification system, heat stress management and safety standards, through to garment design and selection, sizing and care and maintenance.
