Specially for the ladies February 1st 2008 Goliath Footwear has been
busy developing some new
feminine styles in response
to the increasing numbers of
women in the construction
industry.
According to the UK
Resource Centre for Women,
the number of women
employed in skilled
construction and building
trades has more than
doubled in the past six years.
New styles include a side
zip ankle boot (L60) with
smooth black full grain
leather and a new rugged
slip-on shoe (L50), both of
which are tested to EN ISO
20345. A lace-up shoe in
both a safety and non-safety
(NS26) version will complete
the range.
Paul Bowkett, sales and
marketing manager, explains
"We wanted to add a bit of
colour and style for women
with lightweight fitted
solutions. Existing safety
footwear styles are often too
heavy and clunky for most
women, so we hope they will
find these styles much more
appealing and comfortable." More articles from Goliath Footwear Ltd: |
