Stylishly comfortable
June 1st 2006 Available through PPE specialist Bacou-Dalloz, Timberland PRO comprises a range of footwear, clothing and gloves that ensure the wearer is comfortable and has ease of movement throughout the working day.
The footwear range comprises 27 styles, including trainers, chukka boots, hiker boots and classic workboots, as well as specialist lines, such as the tree range. There are 10 new styles that conform to the EN 345-1 and EN 347-1 safety standards.
A comprehensive workwear collection features 'technical' fabrics, including Thinsulate, Lycra, CoolMax and Kevlar. These offer protection against the elements while still being comfortable and stylish.
Garments include jackets, parkas, fleeces, sweatshirts, T-shirts and work pants.
The company has introduced a new collection of protective gloves in nine styles. These are made from high performance fibres and leathers and are said to combine a high level of manual dexterity with good durability.
