PROTECTS AGAINST PREMATURE FAILURE

Aggressive corrosive materials can damage rupture disk holders, leading to premature failure that disrupts processing due to increased downtime.

To safeguard such processes, Oklahoma Safety Equipment Co (Oseco) has developed a solid Fluoropolymer-booted insert holder, providing cost-effective protection against premature holder failure in corrosive conditions.

The holder is constructed with a solid PTFE resin insert pressed into the inner diameter of a stainless steel holder.

When used with a Fluoropolymer lined rupture disk, only the Fluoropolymer is in contact with the corrosive media, extending holder life.

The company says the PTFE liner is a cost-effective alternative to holders made from expensive, corrosive-resistant alloys, such as tantalum, or holders coated with corrosion-resistant alloys.
