INTERLOCKS WITH ROTARY SWITCHES
October 1st 2004

The range of mGard trapped key safety products from Fortress Interlocks has been extended.

Modular door locks, bolt locks and key exchange units now come complete with rotary switches for power or control isolation.

The robust modular units control access to enclosed areas. Available in one to 10 module versions, the company offers a sequencing system with up to 39 000 different sequences in a 10 module arrangement. Simple to configure, units can be extended easily or trimmed down and surplus modules used elsewhere.

Door module, bolt module and key exchange modules are now available with 20, 32, 63 or 150A rotary switches. When a key is inserted and turned, contacts on the switch are changed. Modules can therefore be used to isolate power, controlling access to potentially hazardous areas until a safe condition has been achieved.
