Fewer errors
October 1st 2004

The latest developments from Casella CEL are helping to eliminate a common cause of acoustic measurement errors range adjustments.

The new 400 series of sound monitors offer real time frequency analysis, a new software package and have a single measurement range of 140dB to remove adjustment problems.

Simultaneous measurement reduces time and associated cost, while ensuring a high standard of data.

Designed with ease of use in mind, the CEL-450 incorporates up-to-date technology, bringing real time frequency analysis to the workplace for hearing protection assessment. The CEL-490, with its emphasis on environmental monitoring and community noise investigations, measures all necessary statistical parameters, even in frequency modes.

Both instruments, with easy-to-use menu structure, reduce analysis time through the production of a time history of the noise levels at selectable time intervals, as well as real time frequency analysis.
