Be seen to be safe
February 1st 2006

Moving or stationary trucks with bare forks can present a hazard to pedestrians who may not notice the forks in time to avoid tripping over or walking into them.

Contact Attachments has introduced Fork Fender, a device that can be slipped onto the tips of the forks and can be used, for example, when the truck is being driven in an area when personnel or customers are walking, when trucks are being worked on and forks are left raised in the air, or when the truck is being driven on a public road.

The Fork Fender is made from XLP6 medium density foam in high visibility yellow and fronted by a Hi- Viz safety hazard sticker.

This highlights the truck's tines. Reflective stickers can be added as an optional extra.
