Promoting OHSAS 18001

IMSM will use Safety & Health Expo to promote the international standard OHSAS 18001. Its fast-track, fixed fee solution, based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act model used for ISO9001, is tailored for small and medium sized businesses.

The standard enables a company to control health and safety risks and improve performance. It serves as a way of telling interested parties that health and safety holds priority status within the organisation.
