Keeping it simple June 1st 2006 The health and safety sector's shift to electronic management information systems is being hampered by over-engineered, over complicated product offerings. That's the view of Optima Diagnostics, a company that favours a 'keep it simple' approach.
Paul Blundell, managing director, says "The temptation to produce complex system designs means that many 'solutions' actually scare off buyers who fear that the burden of cultural change required to implement them make a high risk investment."
Optima focuses on ease of use as well as functionality.
Its Wellworker offering for workplace health and safety management has a strong client base, including GB Oils, Bristol International Airport, the British Library, Polestar Group, and Surrey Fire & Rescue. |
