Helping boost safety December 1st 2007 Following a successful
launch with Pettifer
Construction, Knowledge
Online's E-Safe 100 bespoke
reporting and auditing
software, is expected to
become a powerful tool in
an industry which urgently
needs to address health and
safety issues.
The software is loaded
onto a handheld PDA and
taken with the health and
safety manager for his/her
health, safety and
environmental inspection.
Findings are entered directly
into the device. E-Safe 100
records the information and
creates a database of reports
which can be emailed to the
relevant people.
If the report is not carried
out, it sends an alert up the
chain. The system is
designed to flag and resolve
issues, preventing accidents.
The software has improved
Pettifer Construction's safety
record over the past 12-
months. Geoff Heppell, pcm
safety's MD, comments "ESafe
100 is a great
advancement for the
construction industry. For
the first time, we have a
system that provides
accountability and
transparency." More articles from The Knowledge Online: |
