Nationwide road shows June 1st 2006 Lone worker safety is currently being highlighted in a series of free, nationwide road shows.
Argyll Telecom has joined forces with Connexion2, Lancashire Ambulance Service and conflict specialist, Maybo, to offer advice and guidance to managers on all aspects of lone worker safety, including training, policies and technology.
The road shows are also being supported by mobile phone network providers Orange and O2.
Dates and venues are as follows: 17th August, Bristol; 14th September, Leeds; 5th October, Runcorn; 26th October, Paddington; 9th November, Slough.
The road shows are aimed at managers responsible for lone workers. Tom Morton, managing director, comments "The road show is an ideal opportunity for managers to find highly effective solutions for monitoring the safety of lone workers who may be operating in remote areas or in hazardous situations.
