GETTING A GRIP ON MANUAL HANDLING

Norwich Union Risk Services has developed two courses to help UK businesses minimise the risk of manual handling injury in the workplace.

The first is: Manual Handling Risk Assessment Course – The Manual Handling operations Regulations 1992 require that employers make a suitable and sufficient assessment of hazardous manual handling operations. This one day course helps you to fulfil this obligation by providing guidance on how to complete, maintain and record manual handling risk assessments.

The second is: Manual Handling Instructors Course. In many companies there is a constant need for manual handling training that makes in house training a cost effective solution. Attendees of this four day course leave with the skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver manual handling training to colleagues.
