SDS on the WWW
October 1st 2004 Environmental Science has made 1500 CHIP3 compliant safety data sheets (SDS), from its pool of 4000+ sheets, available from the web.
The system went live in September and is offered at a subscription price of £149 per quarter.
The company’s Mr Awolesi explains This is a breakthrough. We constantly get requests for data sheets for named products of third parties.
We obviously can’t write or supply these for all kinds of technical and legal reasons. This new approach, however, not only enables SHE managers and professionals to check their own sheets, but those from their suppliers.
We’re now also developing additional freely downloadable software tools to help our subscribers do that more efficiently.
Although there are no current limits to downloads, subscribers wishing to retain the entire library are encouraged to request the CD-ROM for a small fee. More articles from Environmental Science Limited: |
