Evacuation chair rental
December 1st 2006 Evac+Chair International has introduced a low-cost rental package for its emergency evacuation chairs for the mobility impaired. The package can be taken over a three or five year period and has been introduced to assist those sectors often affected by budgetary constraints to be instantly fully compliant with self-regulatory acts such as the Disability Discrimination Act and the Regulatory Reform Order, ensuring due diligence. The Evac-Chair enables employers to provide an adequate means of escape for all. One person can transport a mobility-impaired individual on the flat or down stairs quickly and safely without the need for lifting or great physical strength. Smooth, controlled operation is due to the interface of speciallymodified V-belts which work to slow descent over stair nosings in proportion to the weight of the passenger.
