Promoting staff fitness

Adopting the principle that a fit and healthy workforce is naturally positive and productive, Sally Young of UnumProvident asked a number of companies to present their proposals for providing equipment for fitness training facilities at its Dorking offices.

Having previously leased a SportsArt Upright Cycle and received positive feedback from staff, it contacted SportsArt Fitness UK to enquire about other cardio equipment and opportunities to rent.

Sally Young of UnumProvident explains "SportsArt replaced the existing CV with a treadmill, recumbent and upright bike, plus a cross trainer. For strength training, it included a multi-press and Cable Tower. It was very helpful in advising on product selection that would utilise our available space yet provide the staff with an excellent workout.
