Supporting role for forklift seat February 1st 2006 Safety and comfort combine in the latest forklift truck seat from Grammer.
The compact seat has low frequency pneumatic suspension to protect the back from jolts. A lumbar support holds the back in its natural position. An integrated backrest extension can be adjusted quickly to the operator's size and work situation.
The Primo has wide, ergonomic cushions and height- and angle-adjustable armrests to support the body and ensure relaxed sitting, even for long periods.
Horst Mohauptm a forklift operator at Huga Hubert Gaisendrees started using a Primo XM a few months ago and reports significantly less back strain. He says "Thanks to the lumbar support and suspension, I don't notice my back after finishing work nearly as much as before and I have no problem turning my upper body around in the seat."
For safety, an integrated switch automatically switches off the vehicle when the operator leaves the seat. A safety belt is integrated in the seat.
