The acquisition by Indepth Hygiene Services of Ambassador Cleaning Services is timed to coincide with changes to fire safety legislation.

Richard Norman, MD says "The legislation means companies will have legal responsibilities for the cleaning of kitchen grease extract systems. This, and the fact that insurers are now starting to include clauses in their policies requiring action to be taken to reduce fire risks in grease extract ducting by the regular removal of grease deposits, will result in an increase in demand for our specialist cleaning services."
