SAFETY BOOST FOR INDUSTRIAL DOORS
December 1st 2004

Industrial doors from Ro-Dor are now equipped with added safety features.

A series of magic eye beams provide a curtain of safety as opposed to the single safety beam that is common within the door industry.

Peter White, business development manager, explains Both ourselves and our clients realise the need for the prevention of impact damage to staff and to goods. Consequently, we have focused our attention on prevention rather than cure. In addition, a safety curtain can mean less damage to the door itself, reducing downtime and costly repairs.

The height, width and concentration of the safety curtain can be adjusted to suit the environment.

A maintenance inspection service has also been introduced. Each door on site will be assessed and a programme of inspections agreed, the timing of which will depend on use. Any defects or potential problems can be addressed in a planned manner.
