Minimum disruption
February 1st 2004

Easilift Loading Systems kept disruption to a minimum when it modernised three loading bays at Ryvitas Poole site.

Bays were upgraded with a 232 Poweramp dock leveller, a fully hydraulic model with swing/hinged type lip designed for low maintenance requirements. Each one was electronically interlinked to the loading bay doors to prevent them from damage.

Dock shelter pads were replaced with Easilift 403 collapsible frame dock shelters. The tough material of these general purpose dock shelters is said to guarantee maximum resistance to wear caused by reversing vehicles. They are resistant to the effects of weather at temperatures from -35 to 80C.

Sets of wheel guides were fitted to each bay to enable drivers to position their vehicles correctly.
