Cases For Industry has developed a warehouse racking system that prevents pallets falling through gaps and allows effective use of sprinklers.

David Scotting, sales director, says "We were concerned to discover that the common practice of using flat sheets of MDF or chipboard as a base for racking in many warehouses could, while providing a solid pallet floor, easily prevent the proper operation of sprinkler units in the event of a fire." The company's ladderstyle racking system provides a safe base for pallets and allows the correct operation of sprinklers. The company is seeking formal insurance company approval for its new racking product.
