A custom-designed scissor lift table from Edmolift is used at Bentley’s Crewe factory to handle engines for the company’s Continental GT.

Engines can be re-built and re-tuned in accordance with the owner’s instructions and after-build engine removal and re-fitting is commonplace.

Accurate positioning of the engine is essential and sensitive over-pressure valves have been installed in the TLD1000 scissor lift’s hydraulic system to prevent engine and vehicle chassis damage.

The lift is fully mobile for easy engine transportation and has a specially adapted cradle to secure the large engine mass.
