Moves long loads easily

The versatility of the Combilift multi-directional forklift and its ability to enhance safe working practices, contributed to it being chosen by Alcoa Extruded Products (UK) to replace four-way electric reach trucks.

Nine diesel powered Combilifts handle aluminium in billet and extruded form at the company’s Banbury plant.

They handle diverse loads, including product lengths from 2.5 to 14m.

Easy changeover to sideways travel means that risky, high-level transportation is avoided, in line with stipulations in place at Alcoa that nothing is to be lifted above head height.
