Low level order pickers
April 1st 2008

The BT Opus OSE180X and BT Opus OSE180XP from Toyota Material Handling are designed for first- and second-level picking in high-intensity operations.

With a maximum load capacity of 1800kg, they share the same features, except that Opus OSE180XP has a lifting platform for easier second-level picking.

E-man steering provides an easy-to-use interface between operator and truck for safe, highly productive picking. A mini tiller arm has power-assisted steering for safe operation with one hand and visibility is good when reversing.

Adjustable sideways steering means the arm can be positioned to the left or right side of the truck.

Logical placement of driver controls makes it easy for operators to learn to operate the truck, while power-assisted steering allows the driver's arms to remain within the profile of the truck. Automatic speed reduction when cornering reduces the risk of accidents.

A low step-in height and fork elevation heights to 800mm allow operators to work comfortably and efficiently.

They can adjust fork height as they work to reduce stress to knees and back.

Also included are regenerative braking and CAN-bus technology.
