Fitting attachment December 1st 2007 Flow equipment company,
Cameron, needed to save
space at its site in Aberdeen
by moving hundreds of large
steel pipes from the ground
and storing them in tubular
racking. It turned to B&B
Attachments for a solution.
B&B Attachments worked
with Kaup to produce a
device that would be able to
stabilise a range of steel
pipes up to 6000mm in
length, with diameters from
105 to 400mm and weighing
up to 1500kg. As many of
the pipes are typically heavy
at one end, the attachment
required a pivotal head that
would allow the rubber
stabiliser pad to adjust to
hold the loads safely.
The Kaup 4T 129ST has
helped save time, increased
efficiency and improved
health and safety for
Cameron by ensuring that
pipes are handled safely and
securely. More articles from B & B Attachments: |
