Safe for flammables

Martindale, a supplier of pharmaceutical products, is using a Guardian Hazardous Material Store for the safe storage of flammable liquids.

A routine fire risk assessment identified the need for flammable liquids to be segregated in a discrete fire-lined and bunded store.

Martindale wanted to avoid the potential delays with seeking landlord and planning consent to build a brick store either outside or inside the building.

Instead, the company used a purpose-built relocatable Hazardous Material Store from Guardian Safety Products inside its warehouse.

As well as being bunded and fire-lined, the 4m long building features Zone 1 lighting, grid mesh flooring, three-tier shelving and a high security locking mechanism. Wide double doors and entrance ramps enable pallets to be loaded by forklift if required.
