Protects columns
October 1st 2007 Column Sentry is a column
protector that helps save
interior building columns by
surrounding them with a
cushion of air. It is easy to
install, without using any
tools, and is said to be
extremely effective.
Available in a number of
sizes to fit most every
column, Column Sentry is
highly visible in its standard
safety yellow colour, helping
prevent forklift collisions.
When hit, it flexes,
protecting the column, the
forklift, and the forklift
operator. It is moulded in
low-density polyethylene,
making it tough while
keeping it maintenance free. Sentry's air-vent system
lets air escape during
impact, allowing the column
protector to absorb impact
without splitting the sides.
In tests, the Column
Sentry column protector
was found to be 83% more
effective in resisting impact
than another column
protector.
